Apartments Martinis

The Martinis apartments are located in a renovated stony house where once upon a time lived grandpa Andre and grandma Kate. We, the grandchildren, chose the names for the apartments as a sign of gratitude and respect of family tradition.

The house is surrounded by a park containing the Mediterranean herbs of the hotel Biševo from the west and the panoramic view of Komiža with a dominant Benedictine convent of St. Nicholas and the Venetian castle Komuna from the east. On the south side, the sea shimmers and the gliders rock about while you are covered by a starry sky seen only from the billow islands. These sights, etched in memory, will heat you up during the bleak days ashore.

The house is a traditional Mediterranean one. The apartment is accessed by a wooden stairwell, characteristic for Mediterranean construction, in contrast with the terrace where you can dive into the wave of light, colors and the blue which wakes up peace and joy in anyone. In this very moment, our guests tend to state “We take it!”. And they remain our guests for years.

The position of the apartment is within the reach of all contents needed to have a pleasant stay, but still within the realm of peace and quiet. It is 30 m away from a small pebbly beach and 300 m from the waterfront.
